FG To Auction Deep Offshore Oil And Gas Deposits Off Lagos Coast

Federal Government has concluded arrangements to auction seven deep offshore crude oil and gas deposits off the coast of Lagos.

The oil and gas blocks, according to the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, are located in the proximity of the Lekki Export Free Trade Zone in Lagos

The commission’s Chief Executive Officer, Gbanga Komolafe, said the bidding for the oil and gas wells would be take place in November.

He promised that the bidding process would be transparent.
