FG Says Nigeria Not Broke

Federal government says Nigeria is not financially broke. Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed said Nigeria has not yet defaulted in its domestic and foreign debts repayment.

The minister admitting Nigeria’s high debt profile, however, said that Nigeria was not opting for a debt relief from its creditors.

According to her, Nigeria has continued to distribute statutory revenue from the federation account to the three tiers of government on monthly basis.
