Federal Government Orders Nigeria’s Land Borders Shut, Ahead Of Polls
Ahead of the Saturday Presidential and National Assembly polls, Federal Government has ordered the closure of the country’s land borders with neighboring countries.
The closure will last 24 hours on Saturday.
Comptroller general of Nigeria Immigration Service, Isah Jere, who announced this in a statement yesterday, said the borders will be closed from 12 am tommorow and 12 pm same day.

Also, the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, has ordered the restriction of movement of vehicles nationwide tomorrow.
The restriction will be from midnight today till 6pm on Saturday.
