West African Examination Council (WAEC) has banned 35 secondary schools in Rivers state from enrolling candidates for its senior secondary certificate examination.

The examination body accused the affected schools of involving in malpractices during SSCE.
Rivers state education ministry had notified the affected schools, and also made the list public
According to the ministry, the affected schools would not be allowed to register candidates for WAEC examinations until further notice.
