Ogun state APC elders have been asked to intervene in the continuous leadership crisis in the party ahead of the 2023 polls.
Former APC national legal adviser, Babatunde Ogala, who made the call named the APC elders as including former governors Gbenga Daniel and Olusegun Osoba.
Ogala speaking while appearing on a Rockcity FM programme, “daybreak show” said both Daniel and Osoba are capable of ending the rift which has pitted Governor Dapo Abiodun against former Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

The former national legal adviser says he is optimistic that the APC would retain power in the state during the 2023 polls.
According to Ogala, the state APC would use the same strategy it used in winning the 2019 governorship poll in 2023 if the leadership crisis persists.
He said the APC in zoning its 2023 presidential ticket would have to consider the population in each of the zones, its popularity in each of the zones.
