El-Rufai Accuses His Predecessors Of Stealing From Kaduna Public Treasury

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has challenged former governors in the state to come out and swear that they did not steal from the public treasury.

The governor speaking on a television programme said his philosophy was not to steal from the treasury, because there would always be a day of reckoning.

El-rufai, said unlike his predecessors in office, he had not stolen public fund to purchase homes in Dubai or built mansions in Jabi road.

The governor said the only property he owns was at Danja stret in Unguwan Sarki in Kaduna, which he built before assuming office in 2015.

El-rufai questioned the source of inordinate wealth of the state’s former governors, saying they knew each others in school days and that none of them were either the children of dangote or dantata.
