A former governor, Willie Obiano of Anambra state has been arrested, hours after handing over to Professor Charles Soludo on Thursday.
Obiano was picked up by operatives of the economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) at 8.30 pm at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

The immediate past governor of Anambra state was on his way to Houston, Texas in the US when he was arrested.
Spokesman of EFCC, Wilson Uwajuren, confirmed the arrest.
Earlier on Thursday, Obiano had hurriedly left the handing over ceremony in Awka amidst a brawl between his wife and the widow of late chief Odimegwu Ojukwu.
