Economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) said it has granted former governor Willie Obiano in its custody an administrative bail.
But the former governor is yet to meet the conditions for the administrative bail.
EFCC chairman, Abdul-Rasheed Bawa, announced this in Abuja, on the sideline of the fifth annual general assembly network of the national anti-corruption institutions in West Africa.

He dismissed claims in some quarters that the arrest was political.
According to EFCC chairman, Obiano was arrested for the alleged misappropriation of 5 billion naira Sure-P fund and 35 billion naira security votes.
Bawa alleges that the money under investigation was withdrawn in cash from banks.
