Department of Security Service (DSS) has issued a fresh alert over planned attacks on some worship centres, critical infrastructure and relaxation centres in the country.
The security agency says the agenda of those behind the planned attack is to cause fear among the people.
In a statement by its spokesman, Peter Afunaya, the security agency says the criminal elements behind the plot want to return Nigeria to the pre-2015 era of attacking soft targets with improvised explosive device.
Operators of the mentioned facilities are asked to implement basic security measures to prevent the planned attacks.
The agency’s director general, Alhaji Yusuf Bichi, wishes all and sundry a hitch-free workers day and Salah celebrations.
