DSS Asks Nigerians To Be Vigilant, Arrest Gunmen Heading For Attack In Kano
Nigerians has been urged by Department of State Service (DSS) to be vigilant and security conscious during the celebration of the Eid El Fitri.
The security agency said this followed the arrest of two gunmen in Kano on Thursday.
The spokesman, Dr Peter Afunaya, said that they were caught with two ak-47 rifles, two empty ak-47 magazines concealed in a sack of yams on a boxee motorcycle.
According to DSS, the gunmen were on their way for a planned violent attack i one of the states in the north.

The security agency calls for extra vigilance, and report of any unusual or suspicious movements of persons, or acts to the security agencies.
