A dead newborn baby has been dumped along Enugu road at Nsukka in Anambra state.
The body of the dead newborn baby was placed in a carton and placed in the middle of the highway near the old Nsukka motor park.

Witnesses say the body was first discovered in the early hours of Tuesday by a commercial driver who raised an alarm.
Spokesman of the state police command, Daniel Ndukwe, says the body was evacuated by the police and rushed to a police station where it was confirmed dead.
