Cultists Strike Again In Ogun, Kill Three in Reprisal Attacks in Ijoko, Within 24 Hours
Cultists are on rampage again in Ogun state, leaving three persons dead in fresh attacks in Ijoko, near Sango Ota.
On Saturday, a group of cultists in a reprisal attack shot dead a filling station attendant at Alaroro axis of the town.
After scaring away people with gunshots, they chopped off the head of the filling station attendant, and escaped with other parts of his body.
The fresh attacks, according to residents, started on Friday, when a group of cultists shot dead a suspected leader of a cultist group, and chopped off his hands.
Later on Saturday, some members of a cultist group killed two suspected members of a rival group, including a filling station attendant.
Residents of the community now lived in fear, following the incessant reprisal attacks by cultists in the area.

They beheaded Eiye member identified as Seun, a fuel attendant at Taidom Filling Station at Alaroro in ljoko.
The attackers specifically targeted Seun, shooting him first and causing everyone nearby to flee. They then finished him off and beheaded him.
They left only Seun’s head at the scene, taking his body with them. The streets of Ijoko are now deserted, with residents living in fear. Increased police presence is urgently needed, a source told our correspondent on Sunday.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Omolola Odutola, said she was unaware of the incident.
Odutola said, There is nothing like that and if there is anything like that I would have released it, nothing like that.
