Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state has directed top security chiefs to immediately relocate to Sagamu to end bloody cultists clashes in the town.
The security chiefs, included the commissioner of police, the director of department of state security and the commander of 35 army artillery brigade.
The governor issued the directive amidst rival cultists’ clashes which had claimed about 15 lives since last weekend.
Abiodun in a statement by his chief press secretary, Kunle Somorin, also directed security agencies to intensify moves to arrest those behind cultists’ clashes in Abeokuta.

Assuring security agencies of support, the governor asks peace loving residents in Abeokuta and Sagamu to co-operate with them.
The governor also urged youths to resist the temptation of involving themselves in cultism and other social vices.
For parents and guardians, the governor asked them to ensure their children and wards stay away from criminality.
Meanwhile, the speaker of ogun state house of assembly, Olakunle Oluomo has blamed the renewed spate of clashes between cult groups in Abeokuta and Sagamu on the failure to implement the existing law.
The speaker said if suspected cultists had been charged according to the state anti-cultism law, cultism would have reduced drastically in the state.
