The new president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Reverend Daniel Okoh has said that Christians will not vote for candidates based on their political platform during the 2023 polls.
According to the cleric, voting for each of the candidates will be based on their experience, credibility, character, capacities and antecedents in relation to the elective posts they are aspiring for.
Reverend Okoh spoke on the issue during the 2022 holy men conference of Christian holy church international in Abuja.
He also asks politicians to stop making promises during their electioneering campaigns just to get votes from the electorate.
The new CAN president says that Nigerians need to ask candidates questions on what they stand to benefit if they win.
