Buhari Tasks Military On Peaceful 2023 Polls

President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the Military to remain politically neutral, ahead of the 2023 polls.

He also urges the Military to replicate the professionalism it displayed during the Anambra, Osun and Ekiti State Governorship Polls during the Forthcoming 2023 Polls.

Buhari, speaking in Sokoto at the Chief of Staff Annual Conference, asked them to continue to operate within framework of the 1999 constitution in order to ensure the successful conduct of the 2023 polls.

According to the President, it was imperative for the Military to continue to support the Civil Authority by providing a peaceful environment for the conduct of the polls.
