Buhari Meets British Monarch, Says He Has No House Outside Nigeria

President Muhammdu Buhari has said he has no house in the UK. Buhari who is in London on a medical trip, made this known at a meeting with King Charles, the third, at the Buckingham palace.

According to the BBC Hausa service, King Charles had inquired from president Buhari, if he has a personal home in the UK, to which he replied in the negative.

According to the report, Buhari also told the British monarch he has no desire to own a house outside Nigeria, adding that he has not bought any house since he became Nigeria’s president.

The president also explains that the houses he owned in Nigeria are those he had before he was elected president.

Buhari adds that he is not much interested in having assets al over the places.
