Buhari Approves N134.7 Billion For Payment Of Military Veterans
President Buhari has approved N134.7 billion for the payment of military veterans excluded from then security debarment allowance.
The approved fund covered those excluded since 2017 to date.
The president announced the approval at the launch of the 2023 armed forces remembrance day emblem and appeal fund, on Wednesday, shortly before the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He explained the approval of the fund demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of veteran soldiers.
Buhari also approved the review of the effective date of the manual of financial administration for the armed forces, to capture all veterans excluded in the security debarment allowances.
