A former speaker of House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, has faulted a debate on the age of presidential aspirants, ahead of the 2023 polls.
Bankole says there should be less emphasis on the age of the presidential aspirants.

The former speaker made the call on Saturday in Kaduna, on the sidelines of the sixteenth annual Ramadan lecture organized by the NTA, FRCN and Voice of Nigeria.
According to him, instead of a debate on the age of the aspirants, the focus now should be on how to elect a president who has the genuine interest in the Nigerian project.
