Atiku Travels Out, Amidst Campaign, Destination Unknown

The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has traveled out of the country, amidst the take off of his electioneering campaign for the 2023 polls.

He departed the country on Tuesday night, from the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja, hours after meeting his APC counterpart, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the airport.

Social media has been speculating that he headed to France on a medical trip.

But Atiku’s media aide, Paul Ibe, in a statement says it was a business trip.

Ibe was however silent on the country that Atiku traveled.

The PDP presidential candidate had kicked off his campaign in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital, last week and the was in Kaduna on Monday.
