Atiku Promises To Promote Further Industrialization Of Ogun

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has promised to promote further industrialization of Ogun State.

Atiku made the promise on Wednesday, during his meeting with PDP’s stakeholders, at the Ake Palace ground in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital, in continuation of his electioneering campaign.

The presidential candidate asked the PDP supporters to deliver their various polling units in the February and March 2023 polls, to ensure victory for the party in the forthcoming polls.

Atiku told them that, it was winning their polling units that would qualify them for appointments or contracts at local, state and federal governments levels if the PDP wins the 2023 polls.

Also speaking at the meeting, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, promised to reveal to Ogun State PDP’s governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu, the secret of his victory in Osun State ahead of the March governorship poll.

Adeleke, who defeated Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the Osun poll assured PDP supporters that, the party would replicate his victory in Osun State’s July 2021 governorship in Ogun State, in March 2023.

Adeleke said his victory in Osun State was a revolution that, would sweep the APC away from power in Ogun State this year.

Accompanying Atiku Abubaka to the meeting were his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu; Governors Aminu Tambuwal, Udom Emmanuel and the Senate Minority Leader, Phillip Aduda.

Others were former senate president Bukola Saraki, former governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Liyel Imoke, Sule Lamido and Lagos State governorship candidate, Abdul-azeez Adediran.
