The PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has promised to hand over Federal Universities to the State governments, if elected in the 2023 presidential poll.
Atiku contends that Federal government lacks the adequate resources to sustain the Federal Universities.

Atiku Abubakar gave a brief insight into his campaign manifestos at the 62nd annual general conference of the Nigerian Bar Association held in Lagos.
He asserts that since 1999 Nigeria has never experienced the level of poverty, insecurity and unemployment that it is going through at the moment.
According to Atiku, Nigeria today has all the negative indices adding that history is now beckoning Nigerians to address the challenge.
