Atiku Flags Off Electioneering Campaign In Ogun

The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has flagged off his electioneering campaign in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Presiding over the event on Monday at the party’s state secretariat in Abeokuta were three former Governors, Aliyu Babangida, Boni Haruna and Ibrahim Shekarau.

The PDP former Governors were received at the secretariat by the state party chairman, Sikirulahi Ogundele, the governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu and his running mate, Adekunle Akinlade and other leaders.

Former Governor Babangida said they were sent by Atiku who could not be present due to urgent assignments.

Adebutu addressing PDP supporters urges people in Ogun State and south west region to back Atiku presidency.

According to the PDP candidate, only the PDP could take the south west into the mainstream of the Nigerian politics.
