Aston Villa to Sign Chukwueze

Aston Villa have taken a major step towards securing the signature of Super Eagles attacker, Samuel Chukwueze if reports from the English media are anything to go by.

Chukwueze has been a subject of interest from Aston Villa since it appointed former Arsenal boss, Unai Emery as the manager.

Unai Emery and Chukwueze worked together at Villarreal before the tactician moved to Aston Villa a few weeks ago.

According to football insider, Aston Villa have tabled an offer of 40 million euros to Villarreal for Chukwueze.

With such a bid, Villarreal may readily sanction the sale of a player who joined it from diamond academy for €500,000 in 2017.

Valued at 20 million euros, Chukwueze is the seventh most valuable player at Villarreal and the fourth among Nigerian players.
