Army Stages ‘Still Water’ Manouvre In Ogun And Lagos
Army 81st division has asked people in Ogun and Lagos State not to panic over the heavy presence of troops between October 12 and December 23.
The army division and other para military and security agencies during the period are to jointly participate in ‘operation still waters’.
Spokesman of the army division, Major Olaniyi Osoba, in a statement says the operation aims at tackling armed banditry, armed robbery, kidnapping and other crimes in the two states during the period.

The general officer commanding the division, Major General Obinna Ajunwa, will flag off the exercise at Firu Terminal at Ojota in Lagos.
He explains that the exercise will later dovetails into a real time operations to enhance professional level of troops.
