The APC has directed all political appointees in federal and state governments it controls, to prepare to quit, if they are interested in the 2023 polls.
The political office holders include ministers, special advisers, special assistants and other political appointees.

The party’s national publicity secretary, Felix Morka announced this at the end of a meeting of the APC national working committee on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to Morka, the directive is in line with the provisions of electoral act 2022.
He dismissed the APC time table being circulated in the social media, saying the party is yet to agree on the time frame or schedule for the holding of its primaries for election of candidates for the 2023 polls.
