Cultists have killed another person at Ilaro in Ogun west in the ongoing bloody clashes between rival cult groups in Ogun state.

This has raised to sixteen the number of people killed in the bloody clashes in the past one week, mostly in Abeokuta and Sagamu.

The latest victim, identified as Dare Ojugbele was killed on Wednesday afternoon in Ilaro.

Spokesman of the state police command, Deputy Superintendent Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the man was just released from a correctional centre.

Police, according to him, are on top of the crisis created by the bloody clashes.

Heads of security agencies in the state, including those of the police, army and department of state security service, have been ordered to relocate to Sagamu to contain the spread of the attacks.
