Amotekun Intercepts Truck Heading for Ogere With 140 Travelers From Zamfara

Oyo state Amotekun corps has intercepted a truck loaded with 140 travelers including women and children in Ibadan, heading for Ogere in Ogun state.

The travelers were being conveyed from Zamfara state.

The truck, marked Abuja BWR 143 XD also loaded with onions, beans, potatoes and motorcycles was intercepted at Bodija/UI axis of the city.

Some of those in the truck managed to jump off the truck and escaped when they sighted the Amotekun operatives.

The driver of the truck while being interrogated said he stopped over in Ibadan to offload some food items at Bodija market on its way to Ogere in Ogun state.

Operatives of other security agencies joined the Amotekun operatives to search and interrogate the 140 travelers.

Security operatives cleared the travelers, after found nothing incriminating, and escorted them to the state’s border with Ogun state, to continue their trip to Ogere
