Amosun Says He Is Still A Force To Reckon With In Ogun Politics

Former Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Monday flexed his political muscle in Ogun State, ahead of the 2023 polls. Amosun, now a senator, said he was still a force to reckon with in the Ogun State politics, regardless of the political situation in the state.

The former governor stated this while speaking to newsmen,  on the sideline of his empowerment programme held at the Ake Palace ground in Abeokuta.

According to Amosun, who represents the Ogun Central in the Senate, most of the people in Ogun State are still behind him, despite leaving office as the state governor since 2019.

He  asks his supporters to remain calm, asking them to mobilize votes for the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Items handed out by Amosun to his supporters, included 100 units of mini buses, 500 units of 2.5KV electric generators, 500 units of deep freezers, 500 units of desktops computers, as well as 2,000 sewing machines and 2,000 units of grinding machines.
