2023: Amosun Rejects APC Opts For ADC Governorship Candidate

Former Governor Ibikunle Amosun has openly back the Ogun State ADC governorship candidate, Barrister Biyi Otegbeye,  ahead of the 2023 governorship poll.

Amosun, however, will back the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the 2023 polls.

The former governor, now an APC senator, declared his position on the issue during an interview on the BBC Yoruba in Abeokuta.

Again, Amosun clarified that himself and his supporters would work against the re-election of Governor Dapo Abiodun in 2023.

Amosun says that his governorship candidate for the 2023 poll is Barrister Biyi Otegbeye of the ADC, adding that he does not hide behind fingers on political issues.

Earlier, Amosun during the recent anniversary of the Abeokuta sports club, had vowed to work against the re-election of Abiodun, accusing the APC of rigging the 2019 governorship poll to favour him.
