Former Governor Ibikunle Amosun has been leading the campaign team of the Ogun State African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Barrister Biyi Otegbeye, ahead of the March 11 governorship poll.
Amosun, an All Progressive Congress (APC) senator, joined the campaign team to the Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area on Thursday.
The former governor, during a stop-over at the Mechanic Village off the Sango Ota-Abeokuta expressway, called on members of Nigerian Technicians Automobile Association that he would now be involved directly in the electioneering campaign of the ADC candidate.
He urged them to vote for Barrister Otegbeye during the poll.
Also, the ADC candidate had visited the senator-elect for the Ogun East Senatorial District, Former governor Gbenga Daniel in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The visit, according to the National Director of Communication and Programme of ADC, Ifenla Olugbinde was to congratulate Daniel for his election.
He said both of them have fruitful discussion, adding that the meeting was also aimed at building a bond ahead of the March 11th governorship poll.
Amosun since last year had repeatedly said that his preferred governorship candidate in March 11 governorship poll is Barrister Biyi Otegbeye of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
