Former governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has assured members of his Ogun state APC faction that decision would be made within the next few weeks on the crisis in the state chapter of the party.

He said the decision would be based on the true picture of happenings in the state APC.

Amosun, now a senator, gave the assurance at a meeting with delegates of the state APC in the just concluded APC national convention in Abuja.

At the meeting were senators Tolu Odebiyi and Lekan Mustapha.

Amosun, in a statement by the spokesman of the APC faction, Chief Wole Elegbede, asked members of the faction to be prayerful about the political situation in the state.

Also, the factional chairman, Chief Derin Adebiyi commended Amosun for his consistency and senators Odebiyi and Mustapha for their doggedness.
