Torino’s top officials are believed to have intensified their discussions with Aina as the club would like to complete the negotiations before the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Aina joined Torino in 2018 from Chelsea initially on a loan deal before the Italians made the deal permanent the following season.
Aina’s current contract expires in June next year, but it is believed that the Nigerian full-back has received a new proposal that will commit him to Torino until June 2025 with a salary increase.
Boasting 29 international caps for three-time African Champions Nigeria, Aina is not often short of suitors from Italian and English clubs.
