Adebutu Collects PDP Nomination Forms to Contest Ogun 2023 Governorship Poll

A former house of representative member, Hon. Ladipupo Adebutu has collected the expression and nomination forms of the PDP to contest in Ogun state’s 2023 governorship poll.

He collected the forms on Thursday at the PDP national headquarters, Abuja, hours after the party began the sale of the nomination forms for the 2023 polls.

He told newsmen after collecting the forms, that he had suffered persecution, paid his due, and contributed immensely to the growth of PDP in state.

Adebutu said he remains in the PDP despite all the odds against his aspiration to contest the state’s governorship poll on the platform of the party.

He assured that his purchase of nomination forms was the start of his journey to liberate Ogun state from the alleged shackles of the APC.

The governorship aspirant also said he had nothing personal against Governor Dapo Abiodun, saying they are cousins, but belong to different parties.

During the week, a former spokesman of the Atiku 2019 presidential campaign organization, Chief Segun Sowunmi also declared interest in the Ogun state PDP governorship ticket.
