Governor Dapo Abiodun has forwarded Ogun state’s 2023 to 2025 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) bill to the state house of assembly for consideration and approval.
The approval of the bill will pave the way for the preparation of the 2024 appropriation bill.

The MTEF bill which itemized the state’s proposed spending for a three year period was approved during the weekly meeting of the state executive council at the governor’s office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
According to the projected estimates, the state government intends to spend 472 billion naira in 2023, 502 billion naira in 2024, and 530 billion naira in 2025.
Capital expenditure is allocated about sixty percent of the three year expenditure, leaving 40 percent for recurrent expenditures.
