Abiodun Made Promises to Compensate Losers in Ogun APC Primaries

Governor Dapo Abiodun has made promises to compensate the APC aspirants for various elective posts, who lost out in the just concluded Ogun state’s primaries of the party.

According to him, in every electoral process, there must be winners and losers.

Abiodun made promises to compensate them while speaking on the APC primaries while addressing members of the state’s executive committee of the party, at the presidential lodge, Abeokuta, on the occasion of his sixty-second birthday anniversary and third year in office.

The governor explains that he consulted widely to ensure the emergence of consensus candidates among the aspirants in the spirit of democracy.

In the process, the governor said some of his preferred aspirants lost out , while others won in the primaries.

The governor, however, regards the APC primaries as the most transparent in the history of electoral process in the state.

The primaries witnessed several protests by aspirants and members of the party who alleged that the process was manipulated to sideline them from becoming delegates or candidates of the party.
