Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state has officially declared interests in the 2023 governorship poll, for a second term in office.

He also announced re-nomination of deputy governor Noimot Salako-Oyedele as his running mate for the 2023 governorship poll.

Abiodun made the formal declaration on Thursday while receiving the APC governorship nomination form purchased for him by members of DA Mandate 2023 from Remo axis, to contest in the party’s governorship primaries.

According to him, the purchased form is like a balm which soothes all the pain that he and his team suffered during the campaign for the 2023 governorship poll.

Receiving the form at the governor’s office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Abiodun said it was a special day in his life, adding that the gesture from his kinsmen compelled him to formally declared interest in seeking re-election for a second term in the 2023 polls.
