Abiodun Declares Ogun’s Support for Osinbajo’s 2023 Presidential Bid

Governor Dapo Abiodun has declared the support of ogun state for the 2023 presidential bid of vice president Yemi Osinbajo.

Abiodun says that Osinbajo’s presidential bid would see him continue the laudable projects of the buhari administration.

The governor declared the support, at separate stakeholders meetings held by Osinbajo, at the palace of the paramount ruler of Remoland at Sagamu; the palace the paramount ruler of Egbaland in Abeokuta; the palace of paramount ruler of Yewa land at Ilaro; and the presidential lodge, Ibara in Abeokuta.

Abiodun said Osinbajo was emniently qualified, committed and competent to lead nigeria in a higher capacity.

Describing the visit as home-coming, the governor said the vice president was noted for his steadfastness, integrity, and character, recalling how he stood by him during the 2019 governorship poll in the state.

Also, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo said Osinbajo deserves to be Nigeria’s next president, because he has paid his due.

The Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi also said that Osinbajo was competent and has required qualifications to lead Nigeria.

Osinbajo tols the stakeholders that he visited the state to declare his intention to participate in the 2023 presidency, and not to campaign

Before coming to the state, the vice president said he had engaged in consultations with all sections of Nigerian society, including President Buhari.
