65 Year Old Ogun Indigene Arrested In Oyo For Allegedly Defiling Step Daughter

Police in Oyo State have  arrested a 65 year old indigene of Abeokuta, Ogun State for allegedly defiling  a 15-year-old girl, who is his step daughter.

The suspect, Waheed Kareem, is now being held by the Oyo State Police Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.

For allegedly conniving with his 60-year-old younger brother, Rasheed Kareem, who is presently at large.

The teenage girl, who is a Junior Secondary School (JSS) one student of a government-owned secondary school in Ibadan.

She was said to have been abused by her biological father ever since she was two years old.

The girl narrating her ordeal, said she started experiencing sexual abuse after her mother, Abiodun Kareem, moved out of her matrimonial home, leaving her with her father.

She said the situation continued till she was eight years old.

Her father was arrested and later died in prison.

The girl claimed she continued experiencing sexual assault in the hands of her step father and his brother since 2021.

She further alleged that the suspect had sex with her weekly, while his younger brother, Rasheed, had sex with her every day.

The victim said she did not inform her mother because her stepfather threatened to kill her and her mother.
