3 Die in an Auto Crash along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Three persons have died in an auto crash along Lagos-Ibadan Road in Ogun State.
The accident occurred at 11 P.M. on Saturday at the Kara axis of the expressway.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a truck marked AA 14 XY and a Cabster pickup marked ZUR 601 XY.
Spokesperson of the state command Of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Chief Route Commander Florence Okpeh, blamed the crash on the excess speed by the drivers of the vehicles.
She said the drivers lost control and crashed the vehicles.
The FRSC spokesperson said the bodies of those who died in the crash were taken away by their relatives.

A total of 04 persons were involved all male adults.
Unfortunately, 3 Persons were recorded dead and 1 person unhurt.
The suspected cause of the crash was excessive speed which led to loss of control and crash. The dead bodies were taken by the family.
Meanwhile, following the abduction of six young girls in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, the Nigeria Police Force said it is intensifying plans to rescue the victims.
The force also assured Nigerians that plans are ongoing to prevent further kidnapping cases across the country.
This development was made known in a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Saturday.
