Dangote refinery reduces petrol price to N840

The Dangote refineryhas reduced the price of petrol to retailers from N880 per litre to N840 per litre. The company’s group chief branding and communications officer, Anthony Chiejina, revealed that the price adjustment takes effect from 30 June.

However, our reporter who went around Abeokuta on Tuesday reported that there’s no change whatsoever to pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) as most retailers claimed they were still selling old stocks.

As such in spite of reduction of price from N880 to N840 petrol is selling at N900 plus in most petrol stations in the Ogun state capital.
