Army asks Nigerians to stop wearing military uniforms
The Nigerian army has asked Nigerians to stop wearing military uniforms, describing the action as an illegality, which is capable of undermining National security. The army warned that the new fad of wearing military uniforms as illegal and cautioned Nigerians against it.
Major General Gold Chibuisi, the chief of civil-military affairs of the Nigeria army gave the warning in Abuja stating that the action threatens national security and amounts to impersonations. Major General Chibuisi disclosed that there are a lot criminals disguising in military uniforms and if everyone is allowed to wear military uniform, criminals would not be easily identified.
