Federal Govt Releases 50billion Naira To ASUU, NASU.
The Federal Government has released the sum of fifty billion naira to the Academic and Non-Academic Staff Unions of Federal Universities.
Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, announced the release of the fund in statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja.
Dr. Alausa, according to the statement, the money is for the settlement of earned allowances, as promised by President Bola Tinubu.
According to him, the payment is a landmark development, which is yet another testament to Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to fundamentally transform Nigeria’s Education sector.
