As part of efforts to ensure a hitch-free Easter celebration, the Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos sector command, has deployed officers, men, and operational vehicles across the State, including two newly donated patrol vehicles from the Lagos State Government through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund. This was disclosed by the sector commander, Corps Commander, kehinde Hamzat, during a media briefing held along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway corridor as part of a monitoring tour.
In a statement issued on Friday by the Sector Public Education Officer, Elizabeth Jayeola, the sector commander emphasised the Corps’ readiness to ensure safety for all road users during the 2025 Easter festivities. He said both regular and special marshals have been strategically positioned across major highways, inner roads, and festive routes to ease vehicular movement and ensure safety for all road users throughout the 2025 Easter period. He further noted that the FRSC has positioned standby ambulances along critical corridors to provide rapid emergency response and rescue operations.
