Hajj 2025: Ogun Begins Inoculation, Medical Screening For Intending Pilgrims.

The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (OGMPWB), has commenced inoculation and medical screening exercise for this year’s intending pilgrims at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. The exercise is designed to ensure that all intending pilgrims are healthy and physically fit to embark on pilgrimage to the holy land. Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo, said at the flag off of the screening exercise, that the government is committed to safeguarding the health of the intending pilgrims while performing hajj rites.

A Medical Practitioner and a member of the screening team, Dr. Mojeed Oloko, charged intending pilgrims to take their health seriously and adhere strictly to medical advice in order to participate effectively during the hajj exercise. Dr. Oloko said the screening and counseling exercise was an essential part of the Hajj process adding that his medical team is committed to ensuring that all intending Pilgrims are duly vaccinated in accordance with the guidelines of the Saudi authorities.
