Ten days after Rivers State Governor Dr. Siminalayi Fubara was suspended and a state of emergency was declared, Ijaw leaders in the Niger Delta assessed the situation over the weekend and concluded that President Bola Tinubu had been misled.
The president of the ijaw national congress (inc), the apex socio-cultural organization of the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality, Prof. Benjamin Okaba; a renowned Niger-Delta Activist, Ann Briggs; among others, have dug into the matter to uncover the truth and lies.
