Daniel, Abiodun Trade Words over TASUED Takeover by FG
The former Governor of Ogun State and lawmaker representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel and Governor Dapo Abiodun, on Thursday, clashed over allegations of neglect and underfunding of Tertiary Institutions in the State.
Daniel, in an open letter to Abiodun, which went viral on Thursday, said the recent takeover of the state-owned Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, by the Federal Government, good as it may be, was fallout of Abiodun’s unwillingness to priorities funding of Tertiary Education in the Country.
