Rivers: Ibas Ask 23 LG to Submit Activities for the Past 5 years

The Rivers State sole administrator, retired vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas has directed 23 local government administrations in the state to submit their activities in the past five years
Heads of administration of the local governments are given up till Wednesday to submit the documents to the office of the sole administrator
Permanent secretary in the state local government ministry, notified the councils administrative heads on the submission deadline
According to the notification letter, the documents should include details of the staff members and their sources of revenue generation
The suspended Governor Siminalaye Fubara, had sacked all the elected officials of the local governments in line with the judgment of the Supreme Court which revoked the last October local government poll in the state Fubara had set in motion the process for the conducting of a fresh local government poll before he was placed on a six month suspension.
