Osun State Govt. to Build Camps for the Displaced People
Osun State Government is to build camps for those displaced by the communal riot in Osun State
Several people died and houses destroyed in the three communities which is now under a 24 hour curfew
Governor Ademola Adeleke ordered the immediate construction of internally displaced persons camps to accommodate those whose houses were destroyed
According to the governor, each of the three communities will have its IDP Camps
He said displaced persons would be screened by security agencies and moved to the IDP Camps, where they would be provided with food until peace return to the communities
He said the state emergency management agency, would reach out to the national emergency management agency for additional relief material Adeleke also vowed that all those involved in the riot would be brought to book.
