Hunter Shot Himself in Ogun State
A hunter has allegedly shot himself to death during a hunting expedition in Ogun State
The victim, Taiwo Bolugbe, was on the expedition with five other colleagues when the tragic incident occurred on Sunday Afternoon
The other five hunters are now in police custody over the incident
They were hunting in a forest at Ajinawo, close to the Dangote Cement Plant at Ibeshe
Police say the rifle of the late hunter accidentally slipped and fired when he was attempting to retrieve an animal he killed
The shots from the slipped rifle hit the late hunter in his lower jaw and neck
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Omolola Odutola said the five hunters had been arrested She said they would be charged to Court if Police found them culpable after the ongoing investigation into the incident
