House of Reps Considering a Bill for the Establishment of Appeal Court to Handle Christians Personal Matters

House of representatives is considering a bill seeking to establish ecclesiastical council of appeal
The proposed Christian court of appeal will be established in all the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory if passed into law
The sponsor of the bill, honorable Francis waive, said if created, the appeal court would handle matters pertaining to personal matters of Christians and ecclesiastical issues in Nigeria
The bill passed for the second reading during the Tuesday plenary of the house A similar bill was struck out in 2016 by the senate during its second reading.
